Morgan Falls Trail is located just near Mellen in Wisconsin’s Bayfield County. This is a 1.1 mile (1.8 km) out and back trail within the Chequamegon National Forest. The trail features an accessible trail with boardwalk and bridge and Morgan Falls. The falls cascade narrowly over a granite face for 80 to 100 feet into a small tributary. Leashed dogs allowed.
Travel directions: You must take several forest roads. From Mellen, drive north on Highway 13 for 9.6 miles (15.4 km), then turn left on Country Highway C for 5.8 miles (9.3 km) to a “T” intersection with Ashland-Bayfield Road. Turn left and drive for 3.8 miles (6.1 km) to the parking lot for St Peter’s Dome.
