Red Granite Falls Trail is located just near Mellen in Wisconsin’s Ashland County. This is a 2.5 mile (4 km) loop trail within Copper Falls State Park that starts at the parking area for Loon Lake. This is a wide and well maintained figure eight loop that takes you Bad River and various overlook of Granite Falls. Leashed dogs allowed on this trail though Copper Falls State Park doesn’t allow dogs on any other trail in the park.
