Lake Superior State Forest Campground located 34 miles (55 km) northwest of Newberry in Michigan’s Luce County. Situated on the shore of Lake Superior, this area is known for excellent agate hunting along the beach. The campground offers 18 sites for tent and small trailer use. The rustic campground includes vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump. Sites are available on a first come first serve basis. For boating and fishing there is ramp access on Blind Sucker Flooding which is just a mile south and at Muskallonge Lake State Park 6 miles (9.6 km) east of the campground.
