Crisp Point Beach is located 37 miles (11.2km) north of Newberry in Michigan’s Luce County. This is a sandy beach extending for miles on the shore of Lake Superior. The beach can be accessed by going 18 miles (29kms) down country dirt road 500 off the M-123. This beach is most often visited when going to Crisp Point Lighthouse. It’s a popular location for rock collectors in the search for Lake Superior agate. Swimming is welcome at the beach, however there are no lifeguards on duty. There are restrooms available at the Lighthouse and Visitor Center though it is closed during the winter months as is Luce County Road 412.
