Interstate Falls is located 1 mile northwest of Hurley in Wisconsin’s Iron County. The waterfall is on the Montreal River right along the border of Wisconsin and Michigan a few miles upstream of Saxon Falls. Peterson Falls is sometimes also referred to as Peterson Falls or Montreal Falls though the sign at the trailhead is marked as “Peterson”. It is a set of three cascades 25 feet (7.6 m) high with a crest of 15 feet (4.5 m) among hemlock forest.

Travel directions: From Hurley go west for about .6 miles just past the US-2 and US-51 intersection. Turn right onto gravel road Center Drive for about .3 miles and the trailhead is located at the turn around.
