Hollow Rock is located in Grand Portage, 35 miles (56.3km) northeast of Grand Marais in Minnesota’s Cook County. This natural wonder is a arched rock formation just off the Lake Superior shore. The arch was formed by centuries of the rock being eroded away by rolling and crashing waves hollowing out the center. It is a favorite among photographers during any season. This natural wonder is accessible off the shore at the beautiful Hollow Rock Resort down Co Rd 89 off Highway 61.
