Two-Fish House Beach is located 5.6 miles (9kms) south of Grand Portage in Minnesota’s Cook County. This is a pebbly/rocky beach on the shore of Lake Superior’s Deronda Bay. When the roadside view opens up to this bay it almost beckons you to this interesting beach. There is a narrow dirt road off the 61 with a very small amount of parking or park roadside and navigate your way down to the beach. On the left side of the bay are a couple of abandoned fish houses that give a sort of nostalgic, almost eerie atmosphere to the beach. The old abandoned car left in the forest above the beach just adds to the feeling of nostalgia.
