Craig Lake State Park located in Champion in Michigan’s Baraga County and is known for being an extremely remote State Park. Craig Lake State Park is on the southern shores of Lake Superior along highway US Highway 41-N. However due to how remote the park is just getting there will be an adventure. It is highly recommended to only attempt to enter the park if you have a vehicle with high clearance. Craig Lake State Park is 8,400 acres and features multiple lakes and perfect spots to observe some amazing wildlife. Due to its remote location Craig Lake State Park is somewhere you should go if you are looking for a very quiet and peaceful environment. The campground’s sites on a first come first serve basis and they offer walk in sites, rustic cabins a yurt for accommodations. They have a boat launch available to use as well as public washrooms.
