Whitefish Point Beach is located at the northern tip, 10 miles (16kms) from Paradise in Michigan’s Chippewa County. This is a rocky/sandy beach on the shore of Lake Superior. Whitefish Point Lighthouse and the Great Lake Shipwreck Museum are the main attractions here, but if you walk past the museum towards the lake, an accessible boardwalk will lead you to the beach. The beach extends to the very tip of the point and on a clear day you can see to Canada. Watch freighters go by, search for agates, bird watch and enjoy the beautiful solitude of this Lake Superior beach.
