Andrus Lake State Forest Campground is located in Michigan’s Chippewa County and is known for being a great place to camp along the shores of Superior. Andrus Lake State Forest Campground is on the south east corner of Lake Superior along U.S. Highway 123 Andrus Lake State Forest Campground features camping that you can drive into access or walk. They have sites available tenting with firepits, and the campground is pet friendly. The park also offers public washrooms, drinking water, firewood for sale and picnic tables. The campground is in a very wooded area and it is a great place to enjoy the great outdoors and you can even fish during your stay as well. The Andrus Lake State Forest Campground is near Whitefish Point, Michigan and closest to the community Paradise, Michigan. The campground is approximately 5.5 miles north from the town of Paradise. There you can find the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum showcasing different artifacts from shipwrecks and ranked as one of the top maritime museums in the world.
