Thomas Rock Scenic Overlook is located in Big Bay in Michigan’s Marquette County. From the parking lot walk up a short accessible loop trail with railings and interpretive signs along the way. It takes you through the woods to the top of the overlook where you are granted with panoramic views of Lake Superior and the surrounding wilderness. Amenities include restrooms and picnic tables.
Travel directions: From Marquette, take CR 550 for 23 miles (37 km). Turn left onto CR 510 and continue for about 1 mile (1.6 km). The parking lot is on the right.
