Difficulty: Moderate

Lost Creek Falls Trail is located near Cornucopia in Wisconsin’s Bayfield County. This is a 2 mile (3.2 km) out and back trail that leads to the 15 foot (4.5 m) tall Lost Creek Falls. The trail crosses two bridges over Lost Creek through the woods and is dotted with a variety of beautiful, bright berries. A foot path leads down to the base of the falls where there is a nice open area. You can even walk behind the falls and experience it from a whole new perspective while feeling it’s mist as it cascades onto the rocks below.

Travel directions: On Lost Creek No. 1 just south of Cornucopia (17.4 miles/28 km north of Washburn). From County Hwy C, turn on Trail Drive and travel .5 miles to the parking area/trailhead. Follow the signs 1.5 miles (2.4 km) through the forest to the falls. The trail is well-marked and improved with boardwalks and gravel.
