Superior Falls is located on the Montreal River border of Wisconsin and Michigan in the counties of Iron and Gogebic a few hundred yards from Lake Superior. While it is technically in both states, it is more easily visited from the Michigan side of the Montreal River. The impressive waterfall consists of several drops with a combine height of 110 feet (33.5 m) and the main drop at 60 feet (18.2 m) tall.

Travel directions: From Saxton, WI take Highway 122 north of US-2. You will cross into Michigan and about ½ mile past the border turn left onto the gravel road. The road leads to the parking lot and you will see the sign reading “Superior Falls”.
