The Davidson Windmill and Eskolin Log House is located in South Range in Wisconsin’s Douglas County. This historic windmill was built in 1900 and operated milling locally grown grains until 1926. The windmill was able to grind 300 pounds of grain every hour. The Eskolin House is a dovetail corner log cabin and was built in the early 1900’s. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Tours can be scheduled by appointment and can take 30 minutes to an hour depending on your interest in history and the inner workings of windmills.
