Wilderness Walk Zoo and Recreation Park is located 3 miles (4.8km) south of Hayward on highway 27 in Wisconsin’s Sawyer County. It is a 35 acre park exhibiting over 300 wild, exotic, and domestic animals. There is no shortage of things to do at this park. Feed a deer and play with some adorable baby animals. See exotic animals like tigers, camels or even a zedonk. Pan for gold, tour the Mystery House and conquer the maze. Pack a picnic lunch or enjoy a bite at the Crooked Creek Café and Gift Shop. Hours of fun to had for the whole family to enjoy at this zoo and recreation park.
