Raspberry Island Lighthouse is located on one of the Apostle Islands, Raspberry Island, in Wisconsin’s Ashland County. The lighthouse was established in 1862 and marks the western channel of the Apostle Islands. The square tower stands 43 feet (13m) tall with attached light keepers dwelling. Visiting Raspberry Island is the most accessible of all the Apostle Island’s lighthouses. Boat tours to the island are offered where you can explore the grounds. During the summer season, there are volunteer rangers on most of the islands to receive visitors for tours. Tours are given of the tower here from 9:00am to 4:00pm. There is an annual Apostle Island Lighthouse Celebration that presents opportunities to view the lighthouses on a cruise boat.
