Mackinaw City is located in Michigan’s in Emmet and Cheboygan counties. Mackinaw City sits at the very tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula and there you can find the Mackinaw Bridge that connect the lower and upper peninsulas. Mackinaw City has a population of 806 and was founded in 1857. This area is most well known for being the hub for connecting the two peninsula’s and the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse.
