Eagle Harbor is located in Michigan’s Keweenaw County on the north side of the Keweenaw Peninsula. It is a quaint coastal hamlet of 76 with a lot to offer. As a midway point between Sault Ste Marie and Duluth, Eagle Harbor once served as a main stop for passing boats and Eagle Harbor Lighthouse led the way. This community received its name from the beautiful harbor and the many eagles that were then in the region.

The Lighthouse is still in operation to this day and the surrounding buildings make up a museum complex showcasing the history of the area during its boom. It’s an ideal place to watch ships pass by the horizon and observe a starry night as you look over the vastness of Lake Superior toward Canada. Explore picturesque hiking trails and the sandy beach for some Lake Superior agates.
