Davieaux Island Lighthouse is located on Devieaux Island near the Quebec Harbor of Michipicoten Island in Ontario’s Algoma Country. Built in 1918, this lighthouse helps aid vessels traveling along Lake Superior between Thunder Bay and Sault Ste Marie. It is a white and red octagonal concrete light tower that stands 44 feet (13.4) tall. The grounds of this lighthouse are open and can be visited by boat or kayak though the tower is closed to visitors.
