Brule is located in Wisconsin’s Douglas County. Brule is approximately 35 miles (56.3 km) from Ashland and only 30 miles (48.2 km) east of Lake Superior near. Brule has a population of 591 and was founded in 1886. This area is most well-known for the Brule River and its quality trout fishing. Some of the most popular things to do are visit the parks in the region and take advantage of the great fishing spots.
