Black Beaver Falls is located within Agawa Canyon Park in Ontario’s Algoma Country. This waterfall is one of three in the park and can only be reached by the Agawa Canyon Train Tour that departs from Sault Ste Marie. The other two are Bridal Veil Falls and Otter Creek Falls. The base of Black Beaver Falls is just a short 10 minutes walk from the train. Past moss covered rocky slopes to the observation platforms at North and South Black Beaver Falls. Black Beaver Creek splits in two before falling into the canyon creating the two sides. The falls are 175 feet (53.3 m) high and are best seen in the spring or after heavy rain. Though the Agawa Canyon Train Tour is also very popular in Autumn for observing the fall colors.
