Beardmore is located in Ontario’s Superior Country Region. Beardmore sits along highway 11 and is near Poplar Point a beautiful campground on Lake Nipigon. Beardmore has a population of 4,636 and was founded in approximately 1914. This area is most well-known for like most towns in northern Ontario being a railway community and having a role in the process of the Canadian Northern Railway. Some of the most popular things to do are to visit the large snowman in the heart of the town, hike, fish, and camp. Beardmore sits in natures hometown within the region of Greenstone Ontario.
